a small doooOOOOOOdolls (dunno y so many ooOOs) booklet that came along w it said there're 2 monster versions that look like this. this 1's called Reddish twin. supposedly Fastest Talker (1000 words per minute). has a Sunny twin that's yellow w a red heart who's a mind reader. owh dear i sound like a dooooOOOOOOOooooooodoll freak now ahah.

n to wrap things up i got this too! simply practical and lovely! :D i appreciate the time spent choosing the right design n mind boggling thoughts of what would suit the wearer best. ;)

n nearly had a heart attack when i opened Cher's card.

hw often d u get season greeting cards nowadays! hehe. Cher u meant it to look like ketupat right? :D a combi of love n effort put in by sum1 who reli cares. nothing is more heart warming than that. :P

Washing Machine dilemma

it's kiasu to blog twice in a day but lol i have a dilemma.

Dear blog Reader,

i was ascending my hostel bolck stairs jus a while ago unshamefully tinking, YEAH NO NEED to fight to use the washing machine w other ppl once again. :D (my floor has no machine so i got 2 use the 1 in the upper floor) thruout the whole wk i could use it whenever i wanted cz ev1 was back home 4 raya hols. muahaha. but whn i got thr, to my utter dismay yet again, the sign above the machine was staring straight into my face.

so y am i writing about this.

u guessed it... i shamefully admit that i was too lazy to go to the washing machine owner's room to pay for the rent cz the last time thr was a notice, all it said was 'Pls pay at room J3--', not leaving any phone number or name or wadsoever. so bcz it was beginning of the sem when i was a bit more hardworking n due to conscience, i took the extra measure of pocketing RM50 whn i went to load my laundry. i knocked.... n knocked.... n knocked... *sigh nobody. so fine... yeah... u noe wad happened after that. i got too lazy / always forget to bring rm50 w me the next consecutive times n so nvr got to pay the poor fella. (i admit this is reli irresponsible of me n the fella has every right to think i am s well)

u might say, easy lah, now got phone num given, just go pay lar. lolz. dat was my 1st tot.

on a 2nd tot, thr was the extra rm25 fine for paying late. :(.....

so i have these options:
A. responsibly contact the person n apologise and pay rm75 (inclusive of fine)
B. as above but negotiate with the person not to fine me. (but i'm not bold enuf to do that u see)
C. contact the person bt remain anonymous n slip rm50 under her door. this wil justify my conscience but is less responsible. -extra rm25 is not a small amt.... :(
D. forget about it n then pay rm100 the start of the next sem. even less responsible but so much more convenient.

Sad Machine Case

it seemed as if everyday of my hols was planned out like chunks of little wafer blocks being taken out frm compartments as i slowly munch thru conveniently day by day as time sets itself in place.

probably 1 of my most productive short hols by far. not reli that this hols has bn extremely productive, but meaning, all the rest of my hols always masuk longkang hehe. it comes with self satisfaction knowing u temporarily accomplished a good piece of work, getting recognition and comparing it with the what ifs.

last friday i asked what if i went home. no doubt i miss my family and the company of the hoard of noisy friends and coursemates but i guess i tot busyness would push that away.

tho i din finish as much as i hoped to in terms of catching up with lectures, stil, its ok.

n its reli heart warming to have ppl constantly on the lookout for u. thx cher :) thx pau n dev for dropping by. thx pei sun for assuming the motherly role of taking me in for a few days haha, leaving her own mother for me lol.. thx for the well wishes from friends. n msgs / emails / calls / blog comments that kept me in touch w some civilisation. whether it was connected to some form of work or just random nonsense. :P

i have 3 days left, all booked with unfinished work. but i'm looking fwd. :D

haulidays & howlidays

it's Day 2 of hols. n the countdown runs.. :P hav a feeling this hols is going 2 end in a snap of my fingers (ok not my fingers lol. snap of my fingers will mean 10 yrs down the road by the time i successfully learn how to snap them properly)

- wil be thriving on Deliveries for the next whole week. ahah. i have nvr appreciated cafe food more. lol. i tink for now cafe food is above McD on the list. i just realised last nite that McD doesnt have salads on their menu! noooOoooooOoooo..................

- have been staring at the laptop screen since 10am. threw myself into a mega PBL + MS project for eamsc.. phewh.

- the bulk of work i have is starting to haunt me. its in my mind b4 i fall asleep, the moment i wake up, when i hav lunch / dinner. i tink i overexceeded the amount of drive i needed to push myself to study. need to reverse a little.. ?

need to stop ranting...

on a more enlightening note, had a McD outing with the debaters last wed :P i'd nvr laughed so much since the last holidays haha. we played 'This is the B*tch'. nothing crude or insulting. just a pretty hillarious game.


McNuggets for dinner. haha!

2 pairs of limbs aint enuf

i guess i hav acculmulated enough pressure to get me studying these coming hols.

n i admit i do need the pressure.

- has only gone thru 4 lectures since the beginning of module. totally behind in physio, patho, n now drugs s well. dun even count the slps in. wil take days n days to finish. its 3 wks worth of lectures.

- ms research project - literature review reference citation is in pieces. wil prob take me 1 whole day to redo this. plus powerpoint presentation.

- debate assignment to research on due by end of raya. wil take 1 whole day too.

- eamsc paper to research on. wil take days to read n digest proper materials.

- academic dept site previsits. which hopefully wil not require my attn drg the hols.

- 3 day debate training at the end of raya hols which i intend to go.


n i only hav 10 days of hols! plus the fact that the word hols is diminishing pressure to study.


tmr i hav a crazy day 2 attend to.

i stil havnt decided which lrt route to take to transport me to various places in the shortest duration of time. living in kl can drive ppl crazy. u spend 10 times more of the time travelling from 1 location to another than the time actually spent on the work u're suppose to do in a particular location of kl. just crazy.

n u have to decide the probability of which train will fail you the least. KTM is at the bottom. sigh.

so tired of not having the time to study proper lecture notes. hav bn running evwhr / doing things other than that every night since after cvs module. so need these hols to buy me extra time....

have been saying goodbye to poor phone credit that has bn running like tap water.

its an awesome day today!!!

even tho i had 5 hours of sleep.

n dozed off a gazillion times in between the 2 lectures this morn.

n STill felt sleepy after that...


BUT

had an awesome clinical class today!

H1N1 negative!!!!!!!!!! waahhahahahha.....

altho it doesnt reli matter whether i was or wasn't positive for H1N1, it stil feels totally cool receiving a private email from the CDC of Taiwan telling u u're H1N1 negative in chinese. :D :D

-even tho the only word i can read in that mail is, 'H1N1' and 'negative'. and a few random words here n thr..

Final Destination

Final Destination gave me a refreshing reminder on a few aspects of life. if u minus the gory images and flesh flying across the screen, there were several ideas the director wanted to put fwd.


- ppl's fear of death.

- how little things can be blown out of proportion.

- how carelessness or taking things too lightly can be disastrous.

- how precious life is to us. n we don't realize it until we're brought so close to death.

- how much control we think we have on our destiny.


interesting really. at the end of the movie, i found myself thinking, hey i shud reli be more careful. like really really be more alert n minimize the blurness in me of my surroundings. use overhead bridge to cross the road. no jay walking.. ehehe.. to take health hazards more seriously. n to value life more.


ppl always say 'live life like its ur last day.' i mean, its so easily said. we all want to live meaningfully. but of course we get tied up w busyness and thr's just no time to slow down n take a breather. but hey, i guess its why we hav constant things (like this movie) to remind us once again about the sanctity of life. haha.

for me i believe God is in control, but at the same time, God also expects us to do our part to be in control.


its more than just a movie with a mirage of gory images. :P



FINALLY cardiovascular module is over i can put it aside and move on.

Into respiratory module now. phew. must gear on. must gear on.
