i was ascending my hostel bolck stairs jus a while ago unshamefully tinking, YEAH NO NEED to fight to use the washing machine w other ppl once again. :D (my floor has no machine so i got 2 use the 1 in the upper floor) thruout the whole wk i could use it whenever i wanted cz ev1 was back home 4 raya hols. muahaha. but whn i got thr, to my utter dismay yet again, the sign above the machine was staring straight into my face.

Beberapa orang telah dikenal pasti menggunakan mesin basuh tanpa bayaran. etc etc. Sesiapa yang ditangkap akan dikenakan denda sebanyak RM25.00 serta-merta. Jika terdapat sebarang masalah sila hubungi O1--------. Tuhan melihat apa ang anda lakukan.

so y am i writing about this.
u guessed it... i shamefully admit that i was too lazy to go to the washing machine owner's room to pay for the rent cz the last time thr was a notice, all it said was 'Pls pay at room J3--', not leaving any phone number or name or wadsoever. so bcz it was beginning of the sem when i was a bit more hardworking n due to conscience, i took the extra measure of pocketing RM50 whn i went to load my laundry. i knocked.... n knocked.... n knocked... *sigh nobody. so fine... yeah... u noe wad happened after that. i got too lazy / always forget to bring rm50 w me the next consecutive times n so nvr got to pay the poor fella. (i admit this is reli irresponsible of me n the fella has every right to think i am s well)
u might say, easy lah, now got phone num given, just go pay lar. lolz. dat was my 1st tot.
on a 2nd tot, thr was the extra rm25 fine for paying late. :(.....
so i have these options:
A. responsibly contact the person n apologise and pay rm75 (inclusive of fine)
B. as above but negotiate with the person not to fine me. (but i'm not bold enuf to do that u see)
C. contact the person bt remain anonymous n slip rm50 under her door. this wil justify my conscience but is less responsible. -extra rm25 is not a small amt.... :(
D. forget about it n then pay rm100 the start of the next sem. even less responsible but so much more convenient.

go to ground floor use the hostel's 'official' washing machine.. XD
evil suggestion. i cant find myself 6 50cents coins every single time i wana use it. i wash clothes once in 3 days. do the maths... erm... wil need 240 50cent coins. wil need reli fat piggy banks. more mafan than paying rm75. lol.
Bring RM75 with you the next time you go use the machine - knock on the door - if no one answer, then write ON her bleeding notice the exact date and time you intended to pay but she wasn't in - sign off flamboyantly; if she's in - reason to her your situation of knocking-so-many-times-but-couldn't-get-her and persuade her to waive the RM25 because it's obvious she's receiving more than she offers.
Grow a spine and actually ask for the not-fine-me option but pay the RM50 which the person righfully deserves. OR
Put ur RM50 in an envelope address to the person with ur name on it to identify that it's your payment and slip it under the door.
She shouldn't fine you since she wasn't all the time you knocked on her door. :D But as she's a student, and if I'm her, I'd still want that RM25 cuz I need the cash. hehehe... all students need some extra. So her washing machine, her right. Appeal to her humane side. Sad to say, if it were me, your screwed. muahahaha
If you DON'T want to, then just use the one the hostel provides. Go to the stall and chage RM5 to 50cent coins at the shop once every 3 days la hai yor!!! I'm sure got shops located between ur classes and ur hostel right??
If you wanna be cheap, you gotta be hardworking!!!! I have to go to the furthest shopping mall to do groceries cuz its far cheaper than the nearer ones. But so long as its cheap, I'm willing to make the sacrifice.hehe
