ending the year

ending 2010 in tanjung karang is sth new!

being in the public health posting was really eye opening.

1. i learnt to live in a community. i have a roommate, i live in a block of 16. i get to have my meals with a whole group of friends. never alone! lots of precious memories of seafood, cooking together, washing veggie :P, making tang yuan, bathroom gossips, truth or dare or rather dare or dare, binge eating together and making up for it by playing badminton and jogging.

ngan shan's door. her rat picture is hillarious! it looks more like a pig-cow. for some reason her room keeps getting rat visits.

jeram's ikan bakar. it come with a sauce that's superspicymegaawesomehot!

2. i love fireflies.
everyone who passes by kuala selangor MUST go! they're like beautiful christmas lights blinking all along the river. and they fly to u and move around ur fingers. owh howww very lovelyyy! i rate it most romantic spot in msia. heheh.

this photo is totally from google images bcz i didnt dare to take photos of the fireflies in case they die of flash shock.

3. i saw how working in a district hosp and a district health office was like.
without the great equipment hukm has. and how important relations with ppl u work with are.

4. hands on fieldwork!
talking to villagers amidst the golden yellow paddy fields that are harvesting. fogging away Aedes mosquitoes. testing water quality. wow.

5. and of course having loads of fun!
visiting the funfair, screaming our lungs out bumping cars and flying through the night skies on a chair.
Happy Fun Park! hwever it has bn dismantled and relocated to another area goodness noes whr so kevin u wont get to go car bumping in jkm mwahahhaha..
