1. kch laksa association have meetings every wednesday so their stalls close on that day. (went hunting 4 laksa at 4 places then to confirm my theory lol)

3. 1 yr ago (or 2 months ago), if u asked me, i'd say cultural village, matang wildlife, etc etc.. are situated 'far-far-away' from kch hav 2 drive 1 hour to get thr 1.
now i noe the diff between all places that are far. after hvg to drive thr myself hehe. (regardless having to tailgate ppl or not)
- batu kawa road going down to bau area is whr the caves, tasik biru are.
*in all ah-beng-ness i introduce Bryan Pei aka Ah Beng going solo.

*home to prehistoric mankind.
- matang area taking 3rd turning then 1st turning at the roundabouts brings u to cultural village, damai beach resort. *pau killing chicken with sumpit at Penan Hut.
- matang area taking all the turnings to Dewan Undangan Negeri brings u to Astana and Fort Margheritta.
- matang area taking 1st/2nd turning at the roundabout brings u to matang wildlife centre n sampadi.
*this orang utan below, Doris does tricks like rolling over n gets jealous when other orang utans get more attention. when Azam (the male orang utan below) came out we were oooh aaahh-ing over it n 4got all about her. she started sticking her tongue out while making rude noises at us to say 'oi idiots look HERe! i'm way cooler kay. like. totalle.....'
- going down the penrissen road brings u to 7th mile n so on which is the way to Pitcher Plant garden and Semonggok Orang Utan centre. n i tink jong's croc farm is sumwhr thr too.
4. my 1st time at Song Kheng Hai makan-ing at 3pm.
-they hav kong pia (the foochow bread), belacan bihun, sotong kangkong, rojak n all the combi of ice kacangs u can tink of.
5. finding out that u shud walk down the souvenir shops opposite Waterfront from the Tua Pek Kong down not the other way round cz the items are cheaper nearer the Tua Pek Kong temple.
*sakit hati after buying keychains, 4 for RM10 when it was 2 for RM2 further down. (cz we walked opposite/wrong direction) nola actually too dumb to just KIV 1st cz we tot 4 for Rm10 oredi damn cheap de ma.
6. The market behind the shops opp Satok opens in the afterns to sell Ikan Terubok.
7. drive to Fort Margheritta next time. dun take sampan n pay cut throat rm20 to get thr by van. heheh.
8. hai pa wang (chinese restaurant famous for baked crabs with the hammer thingy) has been taken over by 3 Point Restaurant (a chain from the Banquet n Half Past Three).
9. girls love shopping n guys love the outdoors (minus the 'dying in the heat sitting in the car backseat cz the front ppl hog the air-con' part) tho the indian boy is constantly seen displacing air-conned areas.
10. u can still cut lanes irresponsibly (in my case unintentionally! :P) in kch n not get cursed by other drivers. ok maybe i din hear them cursing. but they din sound the horn de ma. :S
had kevin, kok joo, pau n elaine, wei wei over in kch the past wk. i learnt a lot bout my hometown myself haha. enjoyed having u guys n girls over :P

Hhmmm... maybe you should bring me around Kuching when I get back there... hehe. I'm sure I can be considered as a tourist in 'some' way. :P
