A Kluang Christmas

The food thr neutralised ALL the toxic effect accumulated from 1.5 wk of ktsn food. Or rather, surplused it!! Yay!

Wei Wei brought me to

  • Kluang Station (haha yay I finally get 2 sample 1 of Yi Lian Everyday's Food blog's food.)

Toasted Kaya & Butter-ed Bun n Kluang coffee n half boiled egg which was half boiled 2 perfection!! The perfect correct degree of runny egg white n yolk spill out into the plate whn u crack the egg into 2 halves. Slurps!

  • Kluang Parade's Thai Seafood

The no.1 spiciest n best tomyam ever tasted (by me) in Msia. It beats Penang laksa (HAHA). N b4 I left I saw the person adding a scoop of cili padi into the tomyam soup. FIRE!!

  • Wei Wei's home delight! :P

Her mum cooked Pan Mee, Wei Wei cooked Wanton and generally, her homecook meals r the bestest after my mum's :D

  • Kluang Parade's Tako

Some Japanese seafood thingy. Tako balls or sth. Crunchy fusion of tangy seafood flavor n veg. crunch munch!

  • Hawker Food area (dunno the name)

Pork Rib Porridge with tons (well more than KL's of Kch's) of mince pork and lean meat and Petaling Street's porridge texture.

  • Kluang White Coffee

Which I din enter. Haha! Just take photo 4 fun.. lol.

  • Eat all these everyday and u'll be as adorable as this Totoro.

And Wei Wei's family consisted of reli warm n fun ppl :P

  • Her cute youngest bro.
  • Her toothy grin other bro.
  • Her shopping loving sis.
  • Her tomyam love-spicy-food-kau-kau sis.
  • Her cool sporty mum.
  • Her 500% tolerance level dad (too bad no pic!)
  • Her granny who asked me whr I'm from and stuff. Cool.

I visited the rubber and oil palm plantation. Swak no such thing marh.

The rubber plantation! Looks like a scene from Winter Sonata without the snow filled ground and if u cut my face off from the picture. Grin.

I always tot they hang the container to collect rubber at the mid level of the tree. Now only I noe the place it at the BOTTOM. Lol.

N I always tot they carve the tree like berpuluh-puluh kali (like how they draw it in Geog text books in form 1). Now baru I found out actually the max num of times u can carve is twice. To get more rubber latex flowing out.

N I din noe oil palm trees can grow reli TALL…. N look like coconut trees whn they grow old. Cz the flakes on the tree trunk eventually fall off as they age.

Only took photos of the young oil palm trees (cz only then my face can be seen just a level below the leaves) and cz the flakes on the trunk r so unique :P

We were suppose 2 wake up at like 7am to c ppl menorah getah in the morn but it rained on fri morn so it gave us excuse to go back to sleep wahahha. On sat morn it actually rained for only 15 mins maybe but it was also an excuse to go back to sleep. Lol. So in the end din c lo.

Stayed from thurs evening to sat noon. Thx Wei Wei 4 the hospitality and great fun!
